Hello parents and students!

 My name is Ms. Brown and I am very excited about this upcoming year! I am a graduate of Louisiana State University. I have taught a variety of grades since I started my career. I have been at Highland Elementary since January of 2005. I had the opportunity to loop with my students for two years. I am excited to have a new crop of students this year!

I am very involved at Highland Elemetary. I am lead Math teacher, SIP team member, PBIS team member, and I mentor new teachers at my school. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. I look forward to communicating with you and your child this year!

Just a bit about me: In my spare time I am an aunt to four precious boys! They live in Sarasota, FL so I spend my holidays traveling to see them. I love to explore new places. I have traveled to a lot of states in the US and I also have been to Mexico and Romania. I LOVE sports (hint is my classroom theme)so I spend a good bit of my time watching games! GEAUX TIGERS!!
